Crucified Barbara is an all-female hard rock band from Stockholm that was founded in 1998. Though the group originally started off as a punk band, as it matured it ended up venturing towards a more distinctive heavy metal sound. After gigging around for several years and truly honing in on its characteristic style, Crucified Barbara eventually landed a recording contract and released its 2005 debut LP, In Distortion We Trust.
