Bryce Dessner

Bryce Dessner is a Brooklyn-based musician and composer who rose to attention as a member of the indie rock band The National. Though he is best-known as a rock guitarist, he is renowned composer who is recognized in the contemporary classical world for his instrumental ensemble Clogs, as well as for his solo material, such as The Lincoln Shuffle, a collection of songs dedicated to Abraham Lincoln. Dessner has solidified himself into the national music scene not only with his own releases, but also as the founder of Brassland Records and curator of the MusicNOW Festival.
