A slightly modified hybrid of Pink Floyd members' names Syd Barrett and Roger Waters, Syd Matters is the pseudonym of Parisian Jonathan Morali. After releasing his first two albums to critical acclaim, the one-man band gained four more members, making Syd Matters a quintet with a fuller sound. Swimming amongst atmospheric symphonies are Morali's melancholy vocals wistfully singing of nostalgia and drawing the listener into its intimate world.
