The Terrapins is a four-piece rock band from South Birmingham that developed its sound from a combination of blues, rock and country from the 1970s and 1980s. In addition to the its original work, the band mixes in work by Bob Dylan, Captain Beefheart and Greatful Dead into its live shows and releases, offering audiences revived versions of familiar tunes. The Terrapins played a headlining set at the Birmingham's 2012 Lunar Festival.
