Despite calling Los Angeles home, lo-fi rocker Troy Von Balthazar has found his following in Europe - where people have taken a shining to his eclectic style of buzzed out, DIY rock. He started releasing material in 2001 and even though he uses several instrumentals on his albums - when performing, Balthazar is a one man show and his use of loop pedals and sampling devices is looked at as innovative by most serious music connoisseurs.
