Adrian Charles Edmondson, better known as Ade Edmondson, is an English comedian and actor. He started his comedy career in the 1980s at the Comedy Store in London. His rising popularity led to an increase in demand and he began to perform regularly at other venues like The Comic Strip club. He also appeared in theater productions of The Rocky Horror Show and If You See God, Tell Him. In the early 1980s, he formed a spoof band called Bad News with fellow comedians Rik Mayall, Nigel Planer and Peter Richardson, and issued the albums Bad News, Bootleg and Cash in Compilation. As a solo artist, he released several audiobooks including Stark, Green Eggs and Ham, The Gobler and Pirates.
