About

Jahcoustix is a singer/songwriter and musician from Germany who owns a roots reggae sound. Growing up in different places around the world, from Mexico to  New York and Kenya to Egypt, he collected an eclectic taste in music and began creating a fusion of reggae and jazz after settling in Munich. He became the lead vocalist of Dubious Neighbourhood in 2001, and eventually released his first solo record, Colourblind, with Virgin Records in 2004. While Jahcoustix has since continued to record his own material, he has also branched out into other projects such as The Outside Players and Yard Vibes Crew.
