Formed by electronic violinist Lyris Hung, Hung is a five-piece with a penchant for progressive death metal that strays slightly into the melodic metal territory. Based out of New York City, the band members have a varied musical background, including those in classical, jazz and rock. With such a unique combined perspective, Hung has managed to stand out amongst the hordes of New York metal bands and catch the attention of media and fans throughout the world.
