Based in Baltimore, Small Sur is a three-piece band the uses minimal instrumentation and understated harmonies to create its folk music. The three-piece band released its 3-song debut Bare Black in 2010, setting a slow and warm tone with its music that is comforting though unfamiliar. Small Sur released its first full-length album, Tones, in 2011.
