Dead Fame

Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dead Fame is an indie rock/pop that creates music with post punk and new wave influences. With hints of electronic dance music, the band's sound is at times the definition of contemporary indie pop, though it remains based in the hazier feel of new wave music. Vocalist Michael Means' deep and gaudy voice keeps Dead Fame from sounding over-produced and venturing too far into the pop realm. The band released its debut effort, a 5- track album titled Frontiers, in 2011.
