Matt Ford, who performs as DJ Format, is a hop-hop DJ from Southampton, England who released his debut album, Music for the Mature B-Boy, in 2003. Before releasing the LP, Ford would open for DJ Shadow in 2002 helping raise his profile significantly. Apart from maintaining a busy solo career with a consistent performance schedule, Ford frequently collaborates with a myriad of rappers including Chali 2na, Abdominal and D-Sisive.
