Born as Darren Dixon, D Double E began his musical career as a DJ before branching out as a rapper. The British rapper went by the stage name DJ Dan during his DJing days. He took up rapping towards the end of the nineties. He is well known among the rappers of the UK's grime scene. "Pow! (Forward)," "Street Fighter Riddim" and "Ladies Hit Squad" are some of his popular singles.
