The Cruxshadows is a darkwave band from Tallahassee, Florida that blends ethereal vocals with electronic violin, guitar and ornate synth arrangements to create an original and characteristic sound. Formed in 1992, the group quickly established itself within the Gothic community with its powerful live shows and its extensive touring regime. Filling its songs with lyrics based on Greek and Egyptian mythology, the band prides itself on incorporating various supernatural and spiritual elements into its unique sound as well to provide its music with a transcendental quality that fans of The Cruxshadows openly embrace.
