Being pushed onto the stage of the infamous Tunnel Club in South East London on a dare, McCarthy discovered a passion for making people laugh and eventually made it his full time occupation. With a style of humor that primarily centers around his struggles trying to fit into society, McCarthy has built a name for himself as one of the more popular self-deprecating comedians on the English stand-up circuit.
