Mark Hill, who performs and releases music under his Artful moniker, is an English DJ who first rose to prominence in the late-1990s as one half of the 2step-influenced, UK garage act Artful Dodger. Striking out on his own and releasing his debut single, "Could Just Be The Bassline," in 2011, Hill's solo material further progresses his knack for creating forward thinking and dance friendly electronic music. Though not necessarily known for crafting songs that cater to the most current music trends, his long career has provided him with an opportunity to further craft and refine a signature sound that's not influenced by faddish musical styles.
