Hailing from Portland, Oregon, Forghorn Stringband crafts a classic, old-time folk sound that honors traditional fiddle stylings as well as Appalachian dance music. Widely considered one of the premier string bands on the West Coast, the group pushes the vintage folk sound without functioning as basic re-creationists of the old-time music.
