Bikini Kill is a punk rock band from Olympia, Washington that was founded in 1990. Considered to be the pioneer of the riot grrrl scene, the group built a reputation for its feminist lyrics and engrossing live performances. Though the group broke up in 1997, it reunited in 2019 for a series of shows in New York City and Los Angeles.
