Hypocrisy

Hypocrisy is a death metal band out of Sweden founded and fronted by Peter Tägtgren. While the style that Hypocrisy sets forth is very clearly dark and heavy metal, it does make use of melodic metal elements, overlaying instrumental pieces that enliven the musical tone on some tracks. The melodic metal elements do nothing to change the dark lyrics though, leaving the listener to pan through the opposing musical expressions.
