Best known as half of the brother sister duo Angus & Julia Stone, singer/songwriter Julia Stone is also a solo artist who creates indie folk music. Based in Newport, Australia she employed her friends and fellow local musicians Keiran Kelly and Brad Albetta to help produce her debut album, The Memory Machine. Filled with multi-instrumental compositions and her delicate voice, the album was a solid break from her sibling project that demonstrates her narrative strengths.
