The Mongoloids is a straight edge hardcore band from New Jersey that combines elements of heavy metal and hardcore punk. The band released its debut album Time Trials, in 2008 when many of its members were still teenagers and embarked on an extensive touring schedule to spread its music around the East Coast. The Mongoloids earned critical acclaim for its follow up LP, 2009's Assorted Music, subsequently signing deals with Six Feet Under Records, Reality Records and Caboose Recordings, respectively in the US, Europe and Japan. The band's third album Mongo Life, was released worldwide in 2013.
