Rosendo

Rosendo Mercado, well-known as simply Rosendo, is a singer/songwriter and musician from Madrid who rose to fame as a pioneer of Spain's hard rock scene. After a short stint in Ñu during the mid 1970s, he formed his own project called Leño in 1978 and released the outfit's eponymous debut album the following year. At the peak of the band's success in 1983, Rosendo decided to embark on a solo career, releasing Loco por Incordiar, in 1985. He has since continued to release a steady stream of new records, including 2010's A veces cuesta llegar al estribillo, with his own heavy, urban rock sound.
