Batusis was formed by two great rock legends: Sylvain Sylvain of the New York Dolls and Cheetah Chrome of Rocket from the Tomb. This supergroup collaboration began in 2010, consummate to a long-held friendship between the rockers. The strict rock 'n punk roots of both members lend themselves heavily to the glitter-glam, garage-dredged feel of the new incarnation. With such time tested talent at its helm, Batusis brings a raucous edge and a provocative core to its music and performances, bred by years in rock 'n roll.
