King Kurt is a UK-based rockabilly band that initially rose to recognition during its formative years with its crossover 1988 hit single "Destination Zululand." Continuing to maintain noted status in England throughout the 1980s with its outlandish retro-meets-kitsch style and sound, King Kurt broke up in 1988 but has since managed to reunite to release additional material and perform.
