One of the most abrasive two-man bands in the punk scene, Wet Nuns is a cowpunk band from the UK that makes a lo-fi brand of southern stoner punk music. With a style that incorporates cowboy hats, thick beards, upside down crosses and fair amount of skull graphics, the band members describe themselves as red necks and their sound as blues punk. Wet Nuns released its debut record, a seven inch titled Throttle, in 2012.
