Emily West is a country pop singer from Waterloo, IA. After signing with Capital Records Nashville, she recorded her first record, a self-titled EP that was released in 2007. She earned modest acclaim over the next few years before joining the America's Got Talent competition in 2014. Though she finished second, the show earned her vast mainstream attention and a deal with Sony Masterworks.
