For a post-hardcore band, Biffy Clyro is pretty well respected in most serious music circles. The Scottish group's use of unusual time signatures as well as slightly strange chord sequences and melodies, has given it added credibility with music aficionados. The band has reached semi-mainstream success by releasing a string of fairly well received albums and touring with the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Who and Muse.
