Herder is a band from Groningen, the Netherlands that makes a sludgy style of stoner doom metal. The group released its self titled debut LP in 2011 and the album helped properly introduce the band with chunky guitar riffs, lurching rhythms and harrowing vocals. Though based in the Netherlands, Herder has managed to find a fairly sizable international following amongst fans of forward thinking stoner rock material.
