Being a member of the popular Grammy award-winning Christian band dcTalk gave TobyMac immense exposure. When the group disbanded in 2000, Mac decided to embark on a solo career and with no surprise he was met with success in the Christian community. With his musical band DiverseCity to back him up, TobyMac has been able to create Christian music filled with a mixture of rap, funk, pop, and rock. Toby Mac is a strong believer in the power of music and that any great song can truly open a person's heart and mind.
