Formed in 2010 by Danish-Irish singer/songwriter Lukas Graham Forchhammer, Lukas Graham is a neo-soul outfit with a retro-pop sound. Pulling elements from funk and hip-hop, the band's "ghetto-pop" quickly music spread around the underground music scene of its hometown Copenhagen and eventually earned widespread attention in Denmark with the debut single "Ordinary Things," in 2011. The band's eponymous LP was released in 2012 to commercial acclaim.
