Wafande Pierre Jolivel Zahor, who performs and releases music simply as Wafande, is a singer/songwriter from Copenhagen, Denmark whose unique style blends together elements of reggae, hip-hop and soul. With cultural roots from Tanzania, Malawi and Oman, Wafande oftentimes fills his songs with lyrics centering around the difficulties many immigrants face, cultural diaspora and European race relations.
