Formed in 1991, Farmers Market is a Norwegian-Bulgarian outfit that creates a humorous, though nonetheless virtuosic, blend of folk and jazz. With a pop sensibility and rock instrumentation, the band released its debut studio album, Musikk Fra Hybridene, in 1997. Farmers Market has since released a series of records, such as 2012's Slav to the Rhythm, bridging western and eastern influences into one groovey sound.
