About
London-based alternative rock band Bastille is the main project of songwriter Dan Smith. Though the band started off as a moniker for Smith, it quickly evolved into a four-piece ensemble that helps fully realize Smith's bedroom-produced tunes with rippling melodies. With its newly rounded sound, Bastille released its debut effort Flaws/Icarus, in 2011.
