Born in Los Angeles, Albert Hammond Jr. is a musician best known as the guitarist of garage rock band The Strokes. Known for his signature three-piece suits, Hammond has been cited by his bandmates as The Strokes' biggest stylistic influence. As a solo musician, he released Yours to Keep in 2006 as well as¿Cómo Te Llama? in 2008, demonstrating his strong songwriting abilities. Hammond has joined bands such as Incubus and Coldplay on tour and produced for acts such as The Postelles.
