One of the most successful bluegrass acts on the East Coast, the Gibson Brothers have been performing live since its debut in the late 1980s. It had made its mark in the bluegrass scene by the late 1990s, winning awards like the International Bluegrass Music Association Award for the Emerging Artist of the Year in 1998. Through works like Spread Your Wings, Another Night of Waiting, Red Letter Day and They Called it Music, the band exposed the world to its style of music, which dared to mix traditional roots music with elements of genres like classic rock. Over the years, the band has collaborated with other artists like Rick Hayes, Joe Walsh, Terry Baucom, Peter Rowan and Jon Weisberger. Some of its most-loved tunes include "Fool's Hill," "Heaven," "Old Toy Trains" and more.
