Yamantaka // Sonic Titan is an experimental music collective that emerged out of Montreal. Led by core members Ruby Kato Attwood and Alaska B, the group blends music into performance art by pulling elements from a wide spectrum of influences including J-pop, progressive rock, heavy metal, anime, Chinese opera, Kabuki theatre and Buddhist philosophy. Yamantaka // Sonic Titan released its debut album YT//ST, in 2011 followed by 2013's UZU.
