Steve Bug (actual name Stefan Brügesch) is a DJ and music producer of minimal house music from Germany. His musical career began with the weekly appearance as a DJ in a club in Bremen, called "MAXX" and the Hamburg' club "Unit". After doing that for two years he cancelled his job as a barber and started producing his own music in Hamburg. In 1996 the Cd line-up Da Minimal Funk was released, with which Brügesch invented the genre of minimal house. During his career he also founded several record labels, such as "Poker Flat" or "Audiomatique Recordings" and became a major influence to the techno and house music scene world wide.
