The Abigails

Silverlake, California band The Abigails is one of a number of bluesy, punk and garage rock bands to emerge from the area. Signed to infamous Burger Records, based in Fullerton, the band has released a series of limited cassettes and vinyl as a part of the label's unique distribution. Reminiscent of old country rock, the band has a unique storytelling style that treads a line between dark and funny. Most of the group's songs are short, pithy numbers with filled with nostalgia, and perfect for Los Angeles summer days of PBR and cassette-ready Chevy cruising.
