About
Brooklyn-based band Modern Rivals is an indie pop outfit composed of five friends who have been making music together since middle school. With dreamy loops and lines of keyboard and guitar, the band creates a backdrop of synthpop and jangly percussion to accompany tight harmonies and the lead vocalist's controlled vocals. Modern Rivals self-released its debut EP Sea Legs, in 2012.
