When the English blues rock outfit The Hamsters formed in 1987 the group was little more than a pet project for its members. Although, as the band started playing more and more it became somewhat of a well oiled music producing machine and people started to take notice of the group whenever it swung through town. The group's characteristic sense of humor keeps the band's shows lighthearted and even though the group has never achieved widespread acclaim, the group's bar band aesthetic work perfectly for the group.
