Willy Moon

Born in New Zealand, Willy Moon is a rockabilly artist who left his hometown when he was 18 years old to travel Europe. By the time he finally settled in London, his music was flavored by the sounds of his travels, with elements of R&B, hip-hop, funk and of course rock and roll. Moon released his first single "I Wanna Be Your Man" in 2010 via his Myspace page and quickly earned the attention of Island Records, who offered him a record deal. He ended up releasing his first official single with Jack White's label Third Man Records, a song titled "Yeah Yeah" in 2012, and subsequently dropped his eponymous debut EP in 2012 with Island.
