Costa Rica band The Color Noise is a female noise rock duo that has taken the country's already eclectic music community by storm. With upfront, churning guitar riffs and noisy breakbeat drums, the ladies of Color Noise revel in the dark spaces of reverb and gut-punching percussion. Barely rising out of the trenches of Color Noise's loud, stripped down production comes haunting, if occasionally ethereal voices that seem to call the underworld as much as anything more transcendent. The group has amassed a loyal following in their tightly knit musical community, and will likely grow to attract an international following in no time.
