Raised as a student of classical music, the ever-inventive Andrew W.K. translated his classical upbringing into a hard-partying life of rock 'n roll. His breakout single, "Party Hard," grabbed the attention of listeners all over the hip, youth-driven markets of MTV, VH1 and local radio stations all over America. Many of his songs have been featured in films and video games, as well as on viral, popular and mass cultural outlets. In 2005, Andrew W.K. forayed his distinctive presence and point of view into a career as a speaker, touring college campuses.
