Initially formed as a solo project for ex-Bananarama vocalist Siobhan Fahey, the English synthpop outfit Shakespears Sister has grown into a group that's driven forward not entirely upon the wishes of any one individual. The group was initially founded in 1988 but due to a number of complications (including pregnancy) Shakespears Sister has experiences a number of career starts and stops. The group is back at it, though, and seeing the band live is a rare opportunity to witness a group that isn't known for its stage shows play live.
