Without the assistance of reality television there's a good chance that English comedian Russell Kane would still be an undiscovered talent. Kane was noticed on the television program So You Think You're Funny in 2005 and came in second place. After the competition Kane went on a comedy tour with some of his fellow contestants from the show and graced the stages of various comedy festivals, but his downtime from televised programming was short lived. He would soon appear on various BBC comedy specials and reality shows including I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
