Progressive rock/alternative outfit Hostage springs from Memphis, Tennessee - a mecca of sorts for American music - and these four rockers bring an original and contemporary edge to the traditional alt-rock sound by blending influences such as Smashing Pumpkins and Pink Floyd to create a distantly familiar yet utterly new musical flavor.
