Michael McDonald's iconic voice, one so husky and soulful that it is identifiable within seconds, has been a voice that has sung its way through American music history. Before his solo career, McDonald was a member of not only one but two bands quintessential to the history of rock: Steely Dan and the Doobie Brothers (with whom he won four Grammys). Now, on his own, McDonald is a perfect example of a blue-eyed soul crooner, covering such famous songs as "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and "Signed, Sealed, Delivered."
