Canadian folk singer/songwriter Nathan Rogers takes after his father, also a Canadian folk singer, who died in a tragic plane crash when Nathan was four. He kept his father's spirit alive, however, by following int he family business and becoming an established folk singer. Comfortable with experimentation, Rogers began studying throat singing in 2004 and has since been known to include Mongolian, Tuvan and Inuit throat singing in his repertoire. Because of his unique take on traditional folk music, Rogers' performances always command the audience's interest and respect.
