Deadstring Brothers is an alternative country band from Detroit that was founded in 2003. Led by chief singer/songwriter Kurt Marshke, the group has somewhat of a revolving door policy regarding its lineup, with Marschke being the only member staying since its inception. Since releasing its self-titled debut album in 2003, the group has released additional albums with regularity.
