Formed in Los Angeles in 2001, Dirty Sanchez is an electroclash outfit featuring far-out electronic stylings and vocals. The queercore act features front woman Jackie Beat, a prominent drag performer; DJ Barbeau, who has worked with Moby and other major artists; and Mario Diaz, a mainstay on the club and party scene. The group brags incredible live performances, with their grinding rhythms and raunchy lyrics. Hugely popular on the West Coast scene, Dirty Sanchez only began picking up speed on the East Coast in the late 2000s. However, they have worked all the underground, club and party spots on the West Coast for years, and their spread to the East Coast is surely just the beginning for this savage act.
