Right Away, Great Captain! is the solo project of singer/songwriter Andy Hull, who is best known as the lead vocalist of Manchester Orchestra. Hull developed his monicker in 2004 and planned the release of a trilogy of albums that chronicles the story of a sailor who discovers his wife having an affair with his own brother. Right Away, Great Captain!'s debut album The Bitter End, was released in 2007, followed by 2008's The Eventually Home. He spent the next three yearspromoting his new project, playing shows with Manchester Orchestra and going on tour with his super group Bad Books before releasing the final installment of Right Away, Great Captain!'s trilogy, The Church of the Good Thief, in 2012.
